FC Goa‘s Golden Boot winner for 2 years in a row Ferran Corominas Telechea is set to stay with the Gaurs for the coming Season of the Indian Super League inspite of offers from Kerala Blasters, ATK and Jamshedpur FC!
Coro won the Golden boot for 2 seasons in a row becoming the highest goal Scorer in Indian Super League. In ISL 5 he won the Golden Ball which is give to the player of the season and later went on to win the Hero Super Cup where he scored in every game of the tournament.
Here’s what Coro had to say about his honors at FC GOA few weeks back – ” These individual awards are the reflection of a fantastic team. Before Leaving for Spain he gave out his Full Kit and Golden Boot arm band to an FC GOA Fan via an Instagram contest.
In a video FC GOA released Coro himself has said he Loves Goa and can’t wait to get back. Sources say he has rejected Kerala Blasters, ATK and Jamshedpur who put in big money offers for him. When asked if age is getting to him he says ‘ My mind has been open to play in all the places in the world. Most important is my body and it tells me I can play one season more.I spoke to Jofre and Tebar and they told me Goa is a very good place to play and stay. That helped me to decide.”
