FC Goa’s captain Mandar Rao Dessai will soon board Mumbai fight to play under coach Sergio Lobera in the upcoming ISL season? Sources claim Mandar has signed offer letter from Mumbai & club will complete transfer formalities in 2 days. On late wednesday night, Goa 365 broke the news out of Mandar Rao to join with Mumbai City FC. This update went viral across social media, wherein gave mix reaction to Mandar’s move. Mandar Rao Dessai made his ISL debut from the commencement of ISL in 2014 & from there on the he was playing FC Goa. Until he made a mind to pack his back and board the Mumbai flight to play for Mumbai City FC for the upcoming ISL season 7. Mandar will follow and play to the techniques and style of Former FC GOA coach Sergio Lobera, who will now guide the Mumbaikar team in this season. Mandar has given some of his finest performances to FC GOA in his career, being it to contributing to making to the finals, semis finals, winning the league shield, 100th appearance and more, moreover being the captain and taking the team to qualify for the ACL. Mandar will miss to play in the ACL, as if he was in FC GOA this season then he would be the first Goan-Indian captain to play in the ACL. Sources indicate that Mandar has signed the offer letter, but transfer formalities are on.
